There are many opportunities for licensed health-care professionals to volunteer as mentors at WISH Clinic.
Mentors oversee patient care within a specific discipline and support the education of students from various programs. They work with the student health-care team consisting of 2 student volunteers from different health-care programs, the clinic facilitator and/or volunteer shift supervisor, and the clerk.
We accept mentors from the following health-care professions:
- Medicine
- Nursing
- Pharmacy
- Dentistry
- Dental Hygiene
- Occupational Therapy
- Physical Therapy
