There will a WISH orientation on Friday, November 3rd at 12pm. It will be held over zoom and will take approximately 45 minutes. Attending an orientation is mandatory in order to sign up for shifts at WISH!

There will be a WISH orientation Thursday, October 5th at 5:00pm on Bannatynne Campus in Theatre B in the Medical Sciences building. The orientation should last about 45 minutes, and is open to any University of Manitoba students interested in volunteering at WISH. Attendance at an orientation is mandatory in order to sign up for your first shift!

The in-person orientation at 5pm on Bannatyne campus will take place in Theatre E in the pathology building. Anyone interested in volunteering for WISH is welcome to attend!

There will be TWO WISH orientations on Wednesday, March 15th. The first orientation will be offered over zoom at 1:30pm, and the second will be held in person on the Bannatyne campus at 5pm, location TBA. We will have donuts at the in-person orientation! The orientation will last around 45 minutes. Attending an orientation session is mandatory in order to sign up for your first shift.

Come to the WISH Clinic orientation event on October 14th at 4pm in the basic Medical Sciences Building Theatre B at the Brodie campus!

This session (and an interview) is mandatory before your first shift at WISH.

This session is open to anyone who has yet to attend a WISH orientation (Not just med students).

If you have already attended an orientation session, then you do not need to attend again.

The Winnipeg Interprofessional Student-Run Health Clinic (WISH Clinic) provides free health services to people in the Point Douglas area of Winnipeg out of Mount Carmel Clinic (886 Main St, Winnipeg) on Sunday afternoons from 1:30-4:30pm. No appointment is needed.

In addition to a medical clinic, we offer free snacks, bingo games with prizes, and a children’s play area. On occasion, there will also be special health-related programming from the University of Manitoba.
